The Municipal Council consists of 10 members (mayor - 3 assistants and 6 advisors) and pursuant to Order 160 of 2005 of 31/01/2005 on the control of electoral districts and the number of advisers

In each district, the number of municipal advisors to Mata will be 12, replacing 10 advisors.
