The Municipal Council for Children has several objectives, including

Educating children about their duties and their civil and national rights
Notifying them that their duties towards their homeland are greater than their rights and that the public interest is more deserving of altruism than the private interest in every action
Training children to take responsibility and practice regulatory actions
Accustom them to volunteer work
Develop their pride in their homeland and preserve its gains and protect its sovereignty
Give them an opportunity to express their concerns through their representatives in the municipality
